Webmaster Note: In November of 2005, the Editor of our newsletter The Mid-Atlantic Submariner announced his retirement. Jim Harlan, the first Commander of Mid-Atlantic Base, has been the newsletter editor since its inception. Jim's work has been excellent as evidenced by the Newsletter of the Year Award earned by him in 2004. After 6 years of being the Base Newsletter Editor, Jim felt it was time "to give someone else a chance to make our Base newsletter a better publication."
